This week has been a proud one for everyone in the studio, as our boss Mike had no fewer than four images shortlisted for the Association of Photographers’ Open Awards, to be exhibited in London in October. His urban work features strongly, with photographs from shoots depicting parkour and skateboarding proving popular with the judges.
Here is an article about one of the shortlisted images, which we regarded as very strong at the time of shooting last summer. And another, about another. We thought they were good – but given the standard of work at AoP exhibitions, this news comes as a pleasant surprise to all of us.
The exhibition will be held at The Old Truman Brewery on London’s Brick Lane from Thursday 25th – Sunday 28th October 2012, with an awards presentation on the opening night. We’ll be reminding you nearer the time.
